**GoldLink Protocol Grant Bi-Weekly Update**

**Date: 08/22/2024**

**I. Executive Summary:**  
With the continual volatility in markets and drop in funding fees, borrow volume has continued to lag though we have seen lending volume pick up and expect a large influx of lending capital with AVAX launch next week. We’ve begun to kick off several growth campaigns we have been planning, including initial points/rewards to incentivize first-time users and keep track of current activity. We’ll also be working with 3rd parties through substack /Twitter to spread awareness, which will be rolling out in the coming weeks. We also recently hired a BD Lead who is now onboarded and ramping up on outreach. We expect to yield additional borrowers/lenders and raise awareness among our target audience (primarily current funding rate farmers on other platforms.)

a) Roadmap Progress

- Lending volume has picked back up, trending towards the initial milestone despite the setback in the previous period ($1M).
- Borrow volume has continued to fluctuate with funding rates, though adding additional markets has consistently caused a bump, which we will expect to continue as we add additional Arb markets and Avax.

All metrics represent the period of August 9 - August 22, 2024:

**II. Current Progress:**

- Lending Deposits: $141,057 (+687%)
- Borrow Volume: $7,256. (-70%)
- Daily Active Wallets: 5.3 (+6%)

**III. Community Engagement:**

- 46 Twitter followers (+35%)
- 8.1k impressions (69%)
- Added in several recent new protocols to watch lists across Twitter + Newsletters

**IV. Partnerships and Collaborations:**

- Upcoming Avalanche launch with pledged borrowers and lenders
- Upcoming lending pool integrations with Rivo (others in the planning phase)
- Galxe campaign for early engagement
- Discord roles for early users
- Twitter posts from KOL/Influencer accounts
- Additional GMX Markets (Sol + Evaluating others) launching soon to add more borrower diversity
