“appears as an insurmountable oppression” - why would it appear to be insurmountable?
The gmx protocol is a real yield project. Making massive changes to the tokenomics to appease people who lack a sense of delayed gratification doesn’t seem necessary, especially when they already have several options:
a) Buy a dog meme coin in order to satisfy their short-term mindsets
b) Stack MPs like they absolutely are capable of doing
c) If apr is such a concern for them, and taking base apr + the progressive growth of a boost = “insurmountable”, then don’t they already have the option of buying GM or GLP as an alternative? Have you seen the apr’s on some of those? Egads.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: This is a solution in search of a problem. I will hand it to you though - resurrecting esGMX was not a prospect I ever would have considered.
