Methodology
The listing of a GM market will be accompanied by a risk assessment and recommended parameters.
The proposed methodology is that all tokens that fit certain predefined criteria will be evaluated for potential listing, and market parameter recommendations will be provided. Criteria can include a combination of market cap, volumes, and the availability of appropriate Oracles.
Such tokens can be moved to governance votes directly to be cued up for implementation once technically feasible (updation of Oracles, configuration of UI changes, resolving bridge partners if required).
Additionally, the community and token holders can always evaluate tokens that don’t automatically fit the defined evaluation criteria by moving for a sentiment check vote first. Sentiment check votes will indicate support from governance to evaluate the creation of such markets and ensure that the same assessment process is undertaken. At that time, can such markets be evaluated on the same basis as the pre-qualified markets already evaluated.
