Familiarity with GMX, Arbitrum, and DAOs: My involvement with Arbitrum and understanding of GMX’s role within its ecosystem includes:

  • I have been following GMX since its’ launch. I was early in the Arbitrum community, which gave me insight into its evolution and key stakeholders.
  • Aside from my work with Gitcoin, I have actively participated in Arbitrum community initiatives as the program manager for the Thank ARB/Cartographer’s Syndicate.
  • Working with Hedgey/StableLab on the Easy Incentive Programs (EIP) allowed me to meet many of the delegates and learn more about the governance ecosystem and its players.

Goals for GMX DAO within Arbitrum: As a representative for GMX in Arbitrum governance, I would focus on:

  1. Exploring deeper collaboration opportunities with other protocols in the Arbitrum ecosystem to enhance GMX’s integration and influence.
  2. Ensuring GMX’s interests are well-represented in Arbitrum governance decisions.
  3. Positioning GMX to play a leading role in Arbitrum’s ecosystem development initiatives, such as incentive programs.

Suggestions for the GMX Governance Committee in relation to Arbitrum: To maximize GMX’s impact within the Arbitrum ecosystem, I suggest:

  1. Regularly engage with other Arbitrum ecosystem governance stakeholders to identify collaborative opportunities and address common challenges.
  2. Creating a framework for measuring and reporting the impact of governance decisions on GMX’s key performance indicators within the Arbitrum ecosystem.

Time Commitment:

Yes

Declaration of Conflict of Interest (if any):

As Head of Grants at Gitcoin, I oversee partnerships and program development with various DAOs, including potential interactions with Arbitrum. I am committed to maintaining objectivity and will recuse myself from any decisions where a potential conflict may arise.
