Please vote to suport the stakers who got robbed in the hack
We’ve been there since the beginning of the protocol, this is not fair
I would commit to keep the funds on GMX, by staking GMX tokens, or even using V2 (I moved my funds to V2 in the past, but found V1 easier to track so brought them back…)

Team will make a proposal soon with regards to additional reimbursement, i do believe gmx stakers would vote for the right thing to help LP.
But of course there is a need to understand gmx treasury size, along with gmx mcap. Even if we give out all the contributors GMX it wont amount to 40m.
Lets await for the proposal first then decide next phase of plans…

Bro I feel ya. I lost my “house down-payment money” in this hack. But what are you actually “proposing” that we all vote on?
Let the firefighters finish putting out the fire before you call them before the city council to discuss updating fire codes. The devs/contributers are likely all way way too busy right now for your thread to produce anything meaningful. I get that you’re hurting. Believe me, I’m hurting too. But now’s not really the time to make demands, especially super vague ones like “let’s vote to support the GLP’ers”.
Everyone in the GMX community supports the GLP’ers and wants them to recoup their money. No point in arguing about “Step 10” if the situation is still at “Step 2”.

Happy to read in the news that funds were returned.
I will make my way to V2, wish they could add a CLAIM button for the yield on V2, would make things much easier for me and the people I suggest GMX to.

Hi @diogogmx where did you read this? I lost funds on GLP V1 do you happen to know the process to get it back?
I saw about it on GMX’s Twitter page, but you can also read it here GMX Exploiter Starts Returning $40M in Stolen Crypto After Bounty Deal
It’s all too recent but I am hopefull that the GMX community will find a way to reinburse their users in the next days

Were you able to reach out to GMX support directly? So far Im just getting stupid bots saying they will help me retrieving the lost funds and also this “Paul” on DM stating: " A support ticket TM927 has been created for you and sent to the support team regarding your inquiry. Connect through the [LIVE SUPPORT] page for a quick resolution.
Click on the live chat icon at the bottom corner of the page to initiate chat."
Which obiviously is a scam!! Just flagging so everyone is aware!

I’ve been using GLP V1 since day one, holding over 20,000 GLP tokens over the years and fully supporting the GMX ecosystem long before this exploit.
After the hack, I exited out of fear of total loss, not profit.
Like many, I panicked – but my intent was never to abandon the protocol.
We early GLP stakers took the biggest hit.
We carried the risk, supported GMX during its growth, and are now the hardest affected.
I’m asking the DAO and community to fairly consider users like us in any potential refund discussions – not just those still holding GLP post-hack.
Without the early LPs, V1 wouldn’t have survived. Please don’t forget who helped build this foundation.

Thank you everyone for voicing your concerns.
As you can imagine, all the contributors were fully focused on retrieving the GLP funds. Thankfully, we managed to connect with the exploiter and arrange for exactly that, in return for a sizable and deserved bug bounty. This was a tremendous relief for everyone.
GMX is now working out the distribution plan for returning everyone’s funds. And as there are thousands of affected GLP users, some of whom include funds, GMX integrators, other smart contract operators, and partner protocols with hundreds of individual users, this is a complex operation.
Additionally, some users sold their GLP after the massive price drop, others did not. This adds even more complexity. It’s not just a matter of refunding a specific snapshot GLP amount to everyone, and then being done with it.
We want to ensure a fair and correct distribution, that doesn’t negatively affect any groups of users — in the same professional manner that GMX always operates.
So please be patient, as the contributors work out this puzzle. We’ll have more to announce about it soon.
[This is primarily a Governance forum, and GMX contributors don’t provide individual support here. That is done on Discord and Telegram. As @carlosbotto correctly notes, anybody claiming to be GMX support or asking you to open a Ticket, is a scammer. Do not engage with them, and stay safe. If you share their username, we’ll immediately ban them]

Follow-up announcement with proposed Next Steps:
As you can read here, this outlines some crucial distribution aspects and options the DAO will need to discuss and address.
A proposal about that should be posted here in the coming 24 hours.
