Dolomite Biweekly Update

Date: December 13th, 2023

I. Executive Summary and Current Progress:

Funds will be used for 2 main purposes: Recovering some audit costs and boosting depositor’s yield to bootstrap more liquidity.

a) Roadmap Progress:

  • We’re still fixing audit feedback from Guardian. At this point, approximately 80% of the issues have been fixed and the remaining 20% are tied to a refactor to make the smart contract size smaller (the 24.5kb limit is the bane of our existence)
  • We will assemble a launch plan once the audit fixes are complete

b) Milestone/KPI Achievements:

  • No major KPIs to announce

I. Executive Summary and Current Progress:

Funds will be used for 2 main purposes: Recovering some audit costs and boosting depositor’s yield to bootstrap more liquidity.

a) Roadmap Progress:

  • We finished the refactor that required us to modify the contracts’ architecture so we can reduce the size of the contracts
  • There are a few remaining audit fixes that will be completed promptly once our other smart contract engineer is back from the Christmas holidays later today
  • We will assemble a launch plan once the audit fixes are complete
  • Unrelated to the scope of our grant request (we focused on GM tokens), we released support for $GMX as collateral which was announced on Twitter.
    • We’re discussing using some of the $ARB to run the $oARB reward program for GMX depositors

b) Milestone/KPI Achievements:

  • Since the launch of $GMX as collateral, we’ve hit a major liquidity milestone of $300,000 in TVL! Source
  • We launched a new $GMX launch campaign for users to earn more Dolomite XP if they use GMX on Dolomite: Announcement.

I. Executive Summary and Current Progress:

Funds will be used for 2 main purposes: Recovering some audit costs and boosting depositor’s yield to bootstrap more liquidity.

a) Roadmap Progress:

  • Audit fixes have been completed and Guardian is doing their second pass through of all the changes
  • In the interim, we’re working on updating our Keeper system to enable retries and liquidations for pending deposits/withdrawals
  • With $GMX collateral support released, we decided to use STIP rewards to incentivize deposits (instead of ARB from this grant).

b) Milestone/KPI Achievements:

  • $GMX has grown to become our 7th most-deposited asset! We currently have $1.6M in GMX (30,500 tokens) in total deposited

c) Contract Addresses:

  • GM tokens have not been deployed yet
  • The incentive contracts for GMX’s allocation of STIP rewards:

Funds will be used for 2 main purposes: Recovering some audit costs and boosting depositor’s yield to bootstrap more liquidity.

We sold 25k ARB on January 11th and received 55,662 USDC which was massively helpful in recovering most of the audit costs.

a) Roadmap Progress:

  • Our GM token audit report was posted by Guardian Audits! See here
  • We’re finishing work on updating our Keeper system to enable retries and liquidations for pending deposits/withdrawals
    • Our GM token integration is poised to be the most flexible integration with GMX V2 that the blueberries have seen yet!
  • We’re continuing to use STIP rewards for incentivizing $GMX deposits on Dolomite.

b) Milestone/KPI Achievements:

  • $GMX has continues to grow its liquidity on Dolomite! We recently surpassed 40,000 tokens deposited!

c) Contract Addresses:

I. Executive Summary and Current Progress:

Funds will be used for 2 main purposes: Recovering some audit costs and boosting depositor’s yield to bootstrap more liquidity.

We had to finish two major things for the rollout:

  • A follow up internal review of the GM token integration
  • Re-organize the codebase to streamline Dolomite’s many integrations and deployment process.
  • QA test our keeper system for GM token release
  • Our SC engineer recently began work to support full account transfers out of Dolomite, since this was a requested feature from various users
  • We upgraded Dolomite’s system to use the newest Router, which reflects the recent GMX Governance Vote

a) Roadmap Progress:

  • We’re QA testing the Keeper system to enable retries and liquidations for pending deposits/withdrawals
  • We estimate we should have GM tokens rolled out next week, following the QA testing finishing
  • We’re continuing to use STIP rewards to incentivize $GMX deposits on Dolomite.

b) Milestone/KPI Achievements:

  • $GMX has continues to grow its liquidity on Dolomite! There’s currently 48,000 tokens deposited!
