Relevant Experience:
Having a data and software engineering background contributing for GMX, working on the GMX STIP Dashboard, that maps partnered protocol-level TVL and volumes/traders, I can help the committee incorporate data-driven and metrics based decisions to output, as we can help decide the efficacy of initiatives. Which helped strengthen insights around the final report for the GMX STIP Grants Program in the Arbitrum Governance.
As a strong proponent for fair-decision making and improving the GMX ecosystem. I served apart of the committee for both STIP Grants Wave 1 and STIP Grants Wave 2, an initative aimed to incentivise protocols building on top of GMX, alongside many great peers who taught me the importance of a focused approach, that resonates with aspiring teams, and the growth of GMX and Arbitrum, in which a collective 80+ protocols had participated in.
Familiarity with GMX, Arbitrum, and DAOs:
I have a strong familiarity with GMX, GMX DAO, and Arbitrum ecosystem. My work has closely involved many collaborations within the Arbitrum ecosystem, both independently and within the GMX domain diving into the metrics, with the presentation of protocol analytics, STIP, STIP.b, and LTIPP incentives for Arbitrum.
Goals for GMX DAO:
I’d like to see that the GMX DAO ensures GMX continues to serve as the cornerstone for unifying liquidity across protocol integrations and broaden Arbitrum ecosystems. A great strength for GMX is found with fostering long-standing partnerships amongst the perpetuals and liquidity landscape. This is most evidenced by the $354M TVL on GMX V2 today, whereabout $150M TVL comes from partnered protocols on Arbitrum.
Suggestions for the GMX Governance Committee:
I propose establishing communication mediums, such as community calls, governance channels, and wider forum presence, where community feedback, questions, and contrary opinions can be more openly shared acted upon with proposals.
Time Commitment:
I can commit 8 hours per week to serve as apart of the council.
Declaration of Conflict of Interest:
- GMX Contributor (Thereby waivering the honorarium)
- Having worked with a multitude of protocols on Arbitrum both on the software-development and data side, I will ensure that I acknowledge any and all conflicts of interest.
