You cannot trade perpetual futures with high gas fees and long time-to-finality. An on-chain exchange needs high throughput and fast execution.
Deploying the GMX contracts to ETH mainnet would be a very expensive to trade on and provide liquidity. In comparision the more interesting idea might be to see if there are ways to make it easier for ETH mainnet and other users on other chains to utilize our deployments on Arbitrum & Avalanche.
