SECTION 3: GRANT OBJECTIVES AND EXECUTION

Objectives:

• Update GMX v2 data. Enables BOT users to track and monitor the real-time activities of traders. Easily find top PnL, Winrate, Win/lose, ROI traders with metrics for 7/15/30/60 days from GMX v2.

Current tools include:

• Provide rankings of traders based on results for PnL, Winrate, Win/lose, ROI with metrics for 7/15/30/60 days from GMX v1.
  
  

• Monitor real-time trading behavior of whales based on customizable volume levels. Provide information including open, increase, decrease, and close from GMX v1. Currently in testing within the BOT user community.
  
  
  
• Track real-time trading behavior of specific traders, customizable with note names. Provide information including open, increase, decrease, and close from GMX v1. Monitor up to 10 wallet addresses simultaneously.
  
  
  

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

• Target 5.000 members using BOT.

How will receiving a grant enable you to foster growth or innovation within the GMX ecosystem?

• Expand the GMX ecosystem as the BOT can be utilized across various groups/communities. The signals from GMX Whale alone have already garnered significant attention from other ecosystems.

• We utilize the signals from the BOT for research and onboarding users through posts on our Twitter channel. This brings GMX to the attention of a broader user base from both web2 and web3 ecosystems. Additionally, we connect with local communities using the BOT.

Justification for the size of the grant:

• I will use the entire sponsorship amount to build and develop the BOT, as well as allocate funds for the ongoing operation of the BOT in the long term

Execution Strategy:

• The requested grant size is based on the number of hours already spent and will be spent on the development, maintenance, and smooth operation of the server so that the BOT can operate seamlessly without encountering issues.

What date did you build on GMX?:

• The Onchain Trader BOT integrated GMX v1 data on July 5, 2023. This marks the official beginning of my journey.

Protocol Performance

• Integration, able to track data from 405,629 users in GMX v1.

• Mandatory community participation is required to use the BOT. We currently have 841 users using the BOT, with 287 users following at least 3 traders.

• Most of the content we provide on Twitter often references or mentions GMX. Onboard and spread out GMX to as many people as possible

• I’m sorry that I can’t open source, but I will update the entire development process according to the established roadmap on Twitter as well as the GMX Forum. We can use a multisign wallet to disburse funds in stages

• Yes, we agree to provide bi-weekly updates on the GMX Forum thread. Additionally, we will regularly update on our Twitter channel. We aim to be transparent with all information for those who follow and use the BOT

1. What sorts of tools are you looking introduce on discord?
2. Would it be possible for the bot to monitor more than 10 wallet addresses simultaneously?

I like what you’ve built. I second Shogun’s question about the plan for Discord tools: would love to hear more about that.

And you mention 5000 users of the Bot as the main KPI, but user numbers aren’t reflected in the milestones anywhere. I would like to see the milestones specify some aspirations around user numbers and the number of communities/groups the bot would be actively included in. That would make it a very strong proposal, imho.

Hi Shogun! Thank you for your interest and questions ^^

1. We will bring all the current features that Onchain Trader BOT has on Telegram to Discord, including:

• Trader Tracking

• Whales Alert

• GMX Ranking

However, since the initial idea was for individual use, we will refine it to better suit the community. We have already adjusted the admin permissions on the Telegram BOT and are actively seeking feedback from community owners to make further adjustments and add features that are useful for members.

2. Certainly, mirroring more than 10 wallet addresses at once is entirely feasible. However, we have to impose limits to optimize resources. Nevertheless, if a majority of users request a limit increase, we will consider raising it to ensure everyone has the best experience. It would be great if you could suggest a specific number, and we will consider it in the next update.

Apologies for the confusion; we will supplement the milestone section:

Improve existing features and adjust functionalities based on feedback from communities using the BOT. • Develop the BOT on Discord after completing the optimization of adding the bot to groups.
3. 4-6 weeks	• Reach 100 communities using the BOT. • Achieve 5000 users utilizing the BOT.	• Focus on intensifying publicity efforts to attract attention from trading communities across various ecosystems.

With the BOT idea, we can effectively onboard more users from CEX to Perp DEX, especially GMX. Additionally, we can foster closer connections within the perpetual DEX ecosystem. All team members are based in Vietnam, and we have strong ties with local trading communities here. Our goal is to reach out to them, the local communities, and expand to local trading communities in Southeast Asia (Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines, etc.). Next, we aim to target communities in the broader Asian region, a potential market where many CEX traders still lack knowledge or have limited exposure to perpetual DEX.

In Asia, there will be many traditional holidays in January-February next year. This will significantly limit development and networking activities. Therefore, we will set a tentative schedule and strive to complete it as quickly as possible. Additionally, we will maintain bi-weekly announcements on GMX Gov if the application is approved.
